To ensure growth and success, Webasto took the challenge of transitioning from various ERP systems, such as AX, with a colorful bouquet of fundamentally different logistics processes and products, to SAP S/4HANA. The aim was to create one unified system with harmonized processes, which led to the project being named UNITE. CONSILIO supported Webasto in rolling out their template to the US.
Succesful go-live without any interruptions for Webasto‘s OEM-customers, despite parallel rollout at two sites with different processes in different timezones. ensuring zero downtime.
Content and Highlights of the Project for WEBASTO:
- Replacement of the heterogeneous and modified system landscape by means of a Greenfield implementation of S/4HANA, specifially focusing on SD, PP, MM, EWM an QM
- Integration of intercompany MRP across all plants worldwide
- Mapping complex supply relationships, such as those between the Netherlands and the USA
- Data migration from AX for adaptation to the Webasto master data template. This template enables the use of sophisticated and efficient MRP profiles for MTO, MTS and ATO processes in one single plant simultaneously.
